About Harvest Moon Lanes

The Harvest Moon Lanes was established in 1962 by two local businessmen, Paul Caldwell and Wally Flexer. The business was sold in 1974 to Vance and Evelyn Miller. A bar/ restaurant (currently known as Doc's Side of the Moon) was added in the late 1990's. The businesses remained in the Miller family until they decided to retire.

Karla

In July of 2023 Karla Anderson acquired the lanes along with Doc's Side of the Moon. Karla worked most of her adult life as a Vascular surgeon. However, she always made time for the sport of bowling. As a matter of fact, her lifelong dream was to own and operate (no pun intended) a bowling center. You can find Karla at the center everyday or evening either working or bowling. The game of bowling seems to be part of her DNA.
